Mission
We conduct research in cardiovascular biomechanics.
The C3D Lab was founded as a collaborative initiative established in 2018 by researchers from PoliMI, the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, and the University of Pavia.
The C3D Lab conducts research in cardiovascular biomechanics, utilizing various bioengineering tools, including in silico, in vitro, and in vivo methods. Its main objective is to provide healthcare professionals with innovative resources to enhance the study of heart diseases and issues related to large blood vessels.
The lab aims to identify key risk factors that can aid in diagnosis and prognosis, as well as support the planning of surgical and percutaneous interventions.
The C3D Lab fosters collaboration between bioengineers and medical doctors, promoting synergy across different research areas at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
